In August 2021, as international organizations evacuated, Aseel pivoted its marketplace for artisans into a humanitarian platform. Using our fintech and logistics backbone, we launched Do Good, delivering food, medical aid, and warmth when no one else could.
Women for Afghan Women (2021) deployed aid reaching 52,000 people in 21 provinces in Afghanistan through emergency communication network in Afghanistan building the foundations of a nationwide test for decentralized Aid.
Vitol Foundation (2023) delivered oversight and funding for the first decentralized aid distribution in the Herat Earthquake Emergency, Vitol funded multiple CSOs helping in total 10,000 families, and the development of the Aid Operating System (AidOS).
The public release of the Aid Operating System on August 15 2025, Four years after the response to the Afghanistan Emergency.
